IHOB lives
A couple years ago, Robert and I came up with the idea for a restaurant which serves only bacon and bacon-based food. Well, check this out. It’s not an entire restaurant of bacon, but IHOB would certainly have this kind of food.

(more…)We had our company Christmas party today/yesterday. It was at this place in Scottsdale called Jillian’s, which I had never heard of or been to before; but it’s one of those multi-faceted entertainment type places where they have a restaurant, bowling, pool, etc. Anyway, I ate at the free buffet that they had set up for our party, and headed upstairs to the arcade to wander around to see if they had anything I wanted to play.
About an hour later, some of the guys from tech room showed up with their girlfriends, so we bummed around for a bit; but it wasn’t long before they left. So I wandered again in search of a new activity. At the point I was about to give up on finding another group, over hidden in the corner of the place I found Allen and a few others playing this multi-player trivia game. Who knew that such a thing existed in an arcade? Anyway, there was a seat open, and I took it and spent the remainder of a very entertaining evening.
Ah, trivia. As long as there other trivia nuts like me, I’ll never be bored at a party.
I’ve never really been compelled to install one of these things, but apparently, using an atlas really is faster.
I got my Wii today, (thanks Bandon) and it is most excellent. We had the afternoon off today, so I spent it hooking up the Wii and playing around with the different stuff it can do—setting up wifi, trading Miis with Bandon, trying out the neat message system, etc. The list goes on. It’s just cool how it all works. I sent him my Mii, and then I played Zelda for a while, and the next time I went into the Mii channel, he and Squeak’s Miis kind of jumped into the Mii plaza.
Oh yeah, and Excite Truck is extremely fun. Not to mention Zelda, because that was a given.
I watched Robo Vampire yesterday, and I must say that I was a little disappointed that it wasn’t about a robot vampire. It was instead about a robot, much like Robocop, that fights vampires. These are, in fact, asian-style hopping vampires. Anyway, it was entertaining to watch the robot man fight the vampires. And in case that wasn’t enough, he fights a vengeful ghost too. The ghost shows up because she’s mad that her husband was resurrected and turned into a vampire.
